Spotlight is a two-day event showcasing powerful teaching and learning in classrooms across the Diocese of Wollongong. This major event will feature

  • keynote addresses – hear from world class practitioners and speakers
  • student panels – hear what your kids are thinking
  • competitions – competitions for students staff and this year parents
  • outstanding teacher spotlight sessions – hear from your peers
  • vendor displays and presentations highlighting the latest educational technology – hear from your suppliers
  • build stuff that your kids would like to build – sick of listening! Just build!

The event is free to teachers (casual relief is NOT funded). However if you present at Spotlight we will be able to organise casual relief for the event.

The text of our times today is 'the future and what it holds', so this year we will focus on the future.

Not into STEM or the future? NO problems there are plenty of other options available as well. #spotlight18 is about Making Things Happen so lets build.

Don't be shy get one of your dad's old shirts bring your paints and let's get building! Of course we will be running competitions for great prizes so book yourself in for two great days of learning, sharing and fun!
